That feels so good that you all can know her now a bit. She is that kid who wants to be with everyone but says away and is misunderstood. When I got her she was under a pile of kittens and the only black and white one- the rest were orange . She was  suffocating under all of them. So I often think of recess analogy with her.

We looooove getting to kmow Pittens!  She is such a one of a ki d little kitty Soul, that for sure!  No one could be a better earth partner for her than you.  That's  why she lay in the bottom of the kitten pile hiding.  She didn't  want anyone to fi d her but you!  All in her divine plan!

HI Everyone,

Ive decided to go through with surgery. I thought about the scenarios and felt that this gives her a chance at being pain free- yes with adjustement- but the other way this can play out seems all crisis and unpredictable and no support in terms of medical help.

I need some help setting her up.

1. litter

2. food water set up- suggestions

3. accidents ( pee pads??"

4. she hates the cone- baby clothes- I unfortunately was never able to have children so - can you help me with that?

5. do I need a ramp?

6. I have 2 other cats

7. meds you have had

8. potential issues and home remedies

I called and confirmed the surgery just now.

Thank you for holding my hand- I will need you more now.

Alrighty!  A decision has  been made and, if you are like most of us, there is a sense of relief  once we have a path forward! You have done an excellent  job of processing  everything to get to this point!  You've boiled it all down as to why you are going this route.  Now breathe!!!!

Okay, have you read "Cool Tips for Cats?  It is all encompassing  and covers basically every you jist asked.  It was spearheaded  by Holly, Purrki s' Mom with invaluable  jnput from all our other kitty members  base2d on their real life experiences. Tons of solutions for all sorts of scenarios  during recovery.

The overnight speciality  clinic I have taken my dogs to for surgery and 24/7 care do not allow ANYTHING to go in with them.  No blankets, no treats, nuttin'.  They may not be as strict at your place.

The knowledge  kitty members can provide answers to all your questions above

We are all here cheering for Pittens.  We are all here to support you in anyway we can.  YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!

Extra hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Dr. Kennedy mentioned for litter yesterdays news or worlds best-

I have used worlds best before and it did feel dusty- Yesterdays news I don't know if she will use that since its soooo different.

And Dr. Elseys has dust too.

Do you have any suggestions?

I ordered the book also.
