My beautiful BC became a Tripawd almost 13 weeks ago, and is doing really well. Thanks so some advice in another topic, he's been on Gabapentin for over a month now, and that has been an absolute lifesaver! The phantom pains seem to be under control now.
The largest challenge he has is scratching the right side of his body ~ he's a right-rear amputee. Bless him, whenever I brush / scratch / pet / touch from his chin all the way to his belly, his little stump is going like crazy! He must be so frustrated, being unable to scratch that side properly.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I bought an arch scratcher for my tripawd Jet, it helps a lot with scratching his amp side.

Hope this helps!

YAY! So glad he's feeling better!
Yep, that arch scratcher is nice. I'd love to see pics of him using it, if you can catch him on camera. Good to know it works for Jet!
We always had a backscratcher around for our Wyatt Ray . Whenever we saw him wriggle like he had an itch, out it came and he didn't mind one bit.
