… thank you for the excellent advice!  Kaiser is doing much better today, his eating and drinking is getting back to somewhat normal.  The appetite stimulate is working and he is eating out of his food bowl.  He drank water yesterday but this morning he refuses to drink, so we'll keep working on that.

If you have not called the vet, please do and let them know Petunia is not eating again. As Sally has said, pred usually stimulates appetite. Are you using the transdermal appetite stimulant and rubbing it in her ear?

Generally, the prednisolone would actually stimulate the appetite as opposed to suppress it. Also, just curious if the jaundice is still showing up yellow in her gums and ears, Etc?

It's not uncommon for dogs to loose their appetite post surgery.  Is the chicken or beef meal you are offering just meat or mixed with other stuff (like canned food)?  You might try plain meat,…
