Tripawd Tuesday: Charming Cassidy Brigh Wins Hearts

People who adopt Tripawds from shelters are superheroes around here! Like Cassidy Brigh’s dad, Bob. This dynamic duo are pawesome ambassadors for three-legged animals, and for Tripawd Tuesday they wanted to share their Tripawd Rescue story with us. Read on and then spread the word, Tripawd Rescues Rule!

Cassidy Brigh is an energetic year-old poodle/muppet mix who lives with his dad in Colorado.  Along with two dogs, Bear and Bailey, and one cat, Harris, Brigh helps his dad foster innumerable scared pups and kittens, helping them find their forever homes.

Brigh was found wondering the streets suffering from possible abuse which resulted in the amputation of a front leg.  However, this incident did not stop Brigh from quickly winning hearts at Foothills Animal Shelter with his bright eyes, constantly wagging tail and boundless energy!

Cassidy Brigh got his name from two sources.  Brigh is a Gaelic name that often translates to “Strength,” which Brigh certainly displayed at the young age of four months when his leg was amputated. Cassidy was added in honor of “Hop-a-long Cassidy” because Brigh says you have to have a sense of humor about life!
