One Year Anniversary Tribute Video for Jerry

Looking back at our nearly two years on the road together, I recall my people often listening to their favorite KHSU program online. Once in a while they would call Mad Dr. Matt, the host of Alternative Therapy, with updates about our location or my condition.

Now, one year after my passing, Jim has had a little fun with iMovie to create this tribute video featuring yours truly, the voice of Matty Dread and inspawrational music from Kelly’s Lot …

NOTE: No crying allowed! Unless they are tears of joy for all the fond memories we shared together as a pack.

Special thanks to the Mad Doctor for his special Jerry tribute show (#379 – 10/11/08) and frequent shout-outs! And many more to Frankie and his Rockin’ people for use of this acoustic version of Today from their Kelly’s Lot album Trio.

I believe the song says it all, and Barney helps us show at the end of the video … that it is all about the present.

Tripawd Lucy; Loving Life Without Limits

Never doubt a dog’s ability to bounce back from the hardest of circumstances. Here’s an incredible rescue story from Humboldt County, California.

My pawrents recently met Lucy, a sweet rescue dog who had a very ruff start in life. But thanks to some incredible people who saved her life, Lucy found a great home, and is now showing the world how awesome life can be on three legs.

A while back, my pawrents returned to Humboldt County, where I grew up. They got to see Kathy and Diane, my godmothers who ran Happy Dog, my old daycare and boarding kennel. They knew me since I was a puppy. It was my most favorite place in the world when I lived in Eureka. We sure miss seeing them all the time.

Anyhow, while they were there, Mom and Dad got to meet two awesome Tripawds, Teddy and Lucy. Here’s a movie about Teddy and her life after becoming a tripawd. Teddy actually used to live down the street from me, but we never had the chance to meet. Small world, eh?
