So, I finally got around to doing this… Whatever

I have a bottle of Jake's power mushrooms (Ganoderma – Reishi) from Health Concerns. Jake received them too late to help him… but I want someone else to be able to benefit from them.

I have 71 pills available. So, depending upon the daily dose you plan to use (always check with your veterinarian before using any supplements!!):

2 pills x 2 per day = lasts for 17.8 days

2 pills x3 per day = lasts for 11 days

3 pills x 3 per day = lasts for 7.8 days

I also have 18 Rx meloxicam tablets (7.5mg each) which would work well for either an 80-85 pound dog (tablets cut in half = 36 days worth) or a 140-160 pound dog (18 days worth). (Meloxicam dosage is 0.1mg/kg for maintanance)

With this I would require a veterinarian's prescription faxed (813-745-7139) or emailed (gbm.cure@verizon.net) to me. Very important that your vet is OK with giving these tablets either whole, or cut in half. Most vets will prescribe the liquid form, which is much easier to dose for smaller dogs.

Shilo diagnosed with osteosarcoma 9/4/2009, amputation 9/9/2009. ShiloAnne lost her battle 11/23/2009 where she regained her fourth leg and is patiently waiting for her parents to join her. We will always love you baby girl.

Thanks for the reminder M! I'm sure someone will take you up on the Power Mushrooms. Perhaps a local shelter might benefit from the Meloxicam if we have no takers there.
