Thanks for doing this Stacy. See you Sunday!

Cheeto had amputation as a result of a condition called "valgus deformity" which can result from a birth defect or the result of an injury to the growing parts of the bones during his first 6 months of life. I came upon him I am pretty sure right after he was abandoned. I rescued him from traffic. He was intact, skinny, tick infested and suffering with his deformed leg. I am trying to integrate him into my pack of 7 small dogs and 4 cats. He is two years old and displaying typical “teen-age” behavior.Image Enlarger

Anyone else care to talk to Stacy on Sunday?

I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't noticed this thread. Sounds like an interesting topic. But what do you mean by "readings?" When I hear that term I think of psychics. I wish I would have seen this before so I could get more information.

Hi Roxy!

She is an animal communicator, an intuitive, a "psychic" in some ways but more along the lines of part therapist, part motivational helper who speaks the language of animals and interprets it to humans to enable better communication and relationships between the species. She is AMAZING, you should tune in and call if you'd like!

Many thanks to Stacy for another great show! Listen below if you missed this episode and stay tuned to the Tripawds Downloads blog for the podcast and summary of highlights discussing:

  • The importance of explaining what's going on with your dog.
  • How to keep communicating with all dogs of your pack after one has surgery.
  • The benefit of preparing new Tripawds for recovery, vet visits, and the use of helpful gear.
  • The importance of watching our own behavior, as pack leaders we set examples.
  • Helping our loved ones move on peacefully when the time comes to let go.
  • Remembering to celebrate the animal's life! Cancer is not a death sentence, don't stress the animal with worry…
