The location is a mystery.  But we do know it's in sunny LA in December 18th-19th!

But in the meantime, those of you booking your plane tickets this is a reminder!

It's  gonna be an action packed weekend!  The best Tripawd party EVER!

Here's the itinerary:

Saturday Mid-Morning:  Champagne Brunch on the Beach

Saturday Afternoon:   A yacht excursion including hors d'oeuves

Saturday Evening:  The Black Tie event starts with a cocktail party, lavish 8 course dinner, following by an evening of dance at the Tripawd Gala Ball

Sunday:  The dog park

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Crap. I would so love to be there but I keep waiting for a seat sale (or a lottery win).

I've got the heels but I don't have a black tie.cry

Sounds great! Ranger's tux is at the dry cleaners, hope It's done in time. He has a request for bacon wrapped cocktail weenies for Saturday afternoon.  Comet, make sure your Mom checks her e-mail.

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us. http://ranger.t.....pawds.com/

Oh my DOG that sounds like a fabulous weekend. Is it invite only or can we announce this to the world?

So which of these two days is the main gathering of dogs?  I might be able to get one or the other off, but not both.  So which day is better?

I believe the main event is on Sunday. Cometdog or Kami, correct me if I'm wrong on that.  I was also informed that there really isn't going to be a Gala Ball what-ever( so I guess I'll have to bring one of my own.)rasberry I still have high hopes for cocktail weenies though and I think Mom's bringing some champagne (in case they're fibbing about that too)wink  Mom and I are really looking forward to a road trip!

Oh Maxidad since you are an officer of the law, Cometdog has to admit to "making up" the Saturday events.  It's still going to be a swell party!  I'll bring a mirror ball and a boom box in case someone wants to dance!  But sadly there's no gala ball.

We're planning on hooking up on Sunday but Kami, our party planner is out of town this weekend to give us details on what park.  I think Chloe' mom and her are sorting it out.

BUT we can all stay at Kami's house if you need accommodations on Saturday night!little-devil

Ranger, we are going to have you so spoiled and your mom horrifyingly corrupted since we are doing the ROAD TRIP together!

If I can get the time off, accommodations won't be necessary.  We live in Orange County, which is just south of LA.  There won't be much in the way of freeway traffic on a Sunday, so it won't take us long to get wherever this is going to be.

And if anyone's in town on Saturday, feel free to stop by the Newport Harbor station and say hi.  Dogs are welcome, since I'm in charge.

Whoo hoo!! Pawty down!! I'm actually back now and have been looking at a couple of dog parks and one in particular that was suggested by Etta's Mom, Julie.  This is located in the San Fernando Valley right off the 405 (centrally located for everyone in the surrounding area.)   So will keep everyone posted.  Ranger's Mom – so happy that you're coming! Maxidad and Maximom that would be awesome for you to make it – we would love to see all of you.   Ok with what Cometdog has promised, I might need to get some permits so we can let the champagne flow…. and I'll send you guys some options on renting tuxes too.  Cocktail weenies?? What would a tripawd pawty be without them??? (Comet said she'd help make them laughing).  Now about that yacht excursion….

Will keep everyone posted.  Looking forward to the LA Tripawd Pawty! cool

Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

What time will the limo come to pick us up?

And please, we'll need some security to keep the pup-a-razzi away OK? Maybe we can get Wyatt Ray to be in charge of that? That boy needs a job!
