Hello all of you Northwesterners in Washington State.  I think the weather is starting to break here and I am really anxious to have a fun day with Sammy and the other 3 legged (and 4 legged siblings) tripawds.

Do you guys want to get together some weekend in June or July?  I am hoping for June because it may not be as hot as July.

I could maybe get together in June.  We're doing a show in Everett at the Mutt March June 11.  It's a fundraiser for the Chase Away Canine Cancer Foundation http://www.k9mu…..march.org/  I don't have the show times yet, but it might be a nice place to get together.  I think they charge to bring your dog in, so that might be a factor for some.

My July is super busy but if that's what works for everyone I'll try my best.

Oh we love the Chase Away organization! Be sure to wear your Tripawds bandanna and tell 'em we said hello!

I'll post this on Facebook and see who else we can gather up.

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

I like it!  Sammy was never into walking, even before the cancer so we can just go and meet and greet.  I hope others will want to show.  Everett is kind of far for some of our southern members….

We can't do June 11! Dang it! We will be in Southern Oregon for a graduation that weekend. If you decide on a different weekend, definitely let us know!

Rios mom,

We could also do another weekend.  I want to go to this to support canine cancer research and to see my parents who live out that way.  My mom is going to go to it with me because she has lost many dogs to cancer.

We could maybe meet the 25th or 26th of June?  Is there a dog friendly park down by the water somewhere?  I looked up washington state parks and Saltwater park is located between Seattle and Tacoma and looks really pretty.  It looks like it has parking pretty close to the beach with a fire pit area.  Last time we met at Marymore and that was kind of a commute for the folks who live south of us.

I live close to Marymore but I want a more controlled enviornment for Sammy, all the dogs had him pretty uncomfortable.  I am flexible though, so throw out the suggestions and see if something sticks!big-grin

There are a number of off-leash parks along the I-5 corridor. Depending on who can make it, we can figure out which will be easiest for folks to get to.

I don't know much about most of them, except the one at Magnusen and the one at Golden Gardens. Both are pretty good sized, but Magnusen is bigger and has water access for the swimmers. There's also one at Edmonds Marina, and one near Shoreline Community College that are a bit further North.

Oh, and we are available the 25th or 26th!

we've got our Tripawds bandana all cleaned up for the event.  Kess was also featured in the chase away newsletter survivor stories.  Hopefully our have our showtimes by mid-week and will update everyone.   We'll be on site for at least 3 hrs as the dogs need 2hrs of rest between shows.  Excited to meet some folks.  Our group is called woofd2

Hey Everyone -

I'll be on vacation from June 23 through July 10th. Although Lincoln (and I) will be very disappointed to miss you guys, please don't feel compelled to plan around us.

It's always crazy in the summer, and we understand that, so have fun if we miss you guys.

I do work a lot of weekends but I could always come later in the day (5 pm or so).  I am off for the July 4th weekend as well as July 10th.
