I've been checking the weather obsessively as well for the past week, and it looks like it's gonna be good!  We are SO looking forward to this!  We're heading up to Carmel on Wednesday, and plan on messing around there for a couple of days (unless Bernie bin Laden gets us permanently banned from the city once and for all).  And then on Saturday, it's party time!  We'll bring another one of those dog treat pies, and having learned from prior experience, Diane will be extra vigilant against raids by Bernie and/or Shelby the Drive-by Treat Snatcher.  We'll be there as close to 1100 as the freeway ride from Carmel will allow.

I'll be starting a thread documenting our journey north in a couple of days, since I think it's only fair to provide an advance warning when bin Laden is on the move.  Photos of the mayhem he spreads during his travels will be posted as well.  Stand by for the hairy tornado that will soon be striking your formerly peaceful area…

The Tsunami Advisory has been cancelled- and it looks like the weather will hold (just like the chauffeur promised).

See you all at the Mill Valley Dog Park in a few hours!!

Well, well, well…we had us a BIG 'OL TIME at the Mill Valley Dog Park!

Tani, Obie, Rudy, Cemil, Kasey, Linda, Bernie, Travis Ray and Shelby showed up along with their peeps and took over the Mill Valley Dog Park!

The weather was perfect, sunshine, a couple of clouds and very little mud.

It is always so much fun to get together with our Tripawd family. We caught up on how everyone was doing, how the dogs were and the on going adventures of Bernie Bin Laden. I swear, you look at him and you just have to smile! He is a beautiful dog and runs like the wind! But you just know something is going on in that head. Linda was cruising around having a ball because Bernie was mixing it up with a couple of his new friends.

Tani was fine voice, Obie was having fun, even though he wouldn't admit it. Shelby's friend Kasey was chasing balls and enjoying her first visit to the "Tripawd Dog Park."

Cemil was cruising around visiting everyone and even got into a bit of carousing. He is such an amazing dog!

This was Rudy's first pawty. He introduced himself to everyone, played a little bit and had a great time.

Travis enjoyed his day at the park. We hadn't seen him in a while, he really is a handsome boy and a tennis ball thief.

Shelby had a big day, chasing a few tennis balls but getting tummy rubs seemed to be her activity of choice.

Maxidad John had his camera out so you know incredible pictures will be forth coming!

We laughed, threw tennis balls, took pictures, met new folks and dogs, handed out treats, gave all the dogs hugs, talked and are already starting to plan next months get together.

What a way to spend a day, great dogs, great people, lots of laughs and I bet every dog napped on the way home.

The pugs were POOPED at the end of the day- they both slept all the way home, and Tani almost never sleeps in the truck.  Even though Tani acts like she doesn't like Obie, she was sleeping with her chin on his back most of the time.

I think Tani tired herself out cruising for snacks, and being shy all day really takes a toll on Obie.

It was great to see everyone again, and to meet Rudy and his posse.

Maxidad posted a few pics in the Bernie thread- post # 23.

Can't wait for April!

Ok so I'm a little late posting my comments!

I just wanted to say that Rudy had a blast at the tripawd party! Rudy went up to introduce himself to the people first, just in case they had treats, before he went around greeting the doggies.  He slept on the way home, then was energized and up after we got home!

I'm so glad Hubby Art and I got to meet such great people and beautiful doggies.  We lucked out on the weather, it was so beautiful out there.  Maxidad took some awesome photos and I have to say the one he posted of Rudy on 'bernies on the move' thread was hilarious! Yeah Rudy was happy, he had his tongue and 'red rocket' hanging out!

You're late? I'm REALLY late in getting here!

How totally cool you guys all got together, this is just so neat. I'm  going over to look at the photos now, but I just wanted to say that it really makes my day knowing that the Tripawd love goes on and on.
