Come one, come all, leave that Elmo what's his face in Las Vegas, thank you very much! to Mill Valley Dog Park for the August Nor Cal Tripawd Pawty.
It's been a couple months since we've had us a pawty and PAWTY we will do!! Shelby has all this wound up, stored up, pawty energy and she's gonna let it all out!!! I bet you by the time the pawties over she'll have "borrowed" at least 10 tennis balls!
Saturday, August 13th at 11AM. That's right…we gonna pawty on Saturday the 13th, we afraid of no superstition about bad luck!
Come on down from Washington, come on over from Tenn. (we won't laugh if your bark has a southern twang to it.)
It's been too long, let's get back in pawty shape 'cause you know who is coming back to town…I've heard a rumor that Bernie, Linda and the crew are headin north in September.
See you there, the chauffeur.

OfflineYea!!
Obie can show off his new moves. We are taking an agility class (ok, stop laughing- SOME pugs are agile!), and last Sunday he showed interest in another dog… didn't get closer than 5 or 6 feet, but followed her kind of…
Don't be surprised if Tani arrives in Maggie's Chariot, she is not doing distance well right now. She has quickly learned the 'queen' look that Mag perfected during the chariot years! Tani remains her obnoxious bi###y self towards other dogs but is always ready for a treat and a lap.
Can't wait to see everyone- it has been far too long.

p.s. I do have a few Tripawd bandannas if any new friends show up.

OfflineRio's mom- are you really thinking about coming down here??? That would be awesome!
I don't think Cemil and Mary can make it- I think Mary told me she would be gone when I saw her a couple of weeks ago.

OfflineWe may actually try to make it. It's a bit of a haul, but our niece is getting married August 16th in Southern Oregon, so since we're heading south, we may go just a bit further and then work our way back in time for the wedding.
Could be a fun road trip! You guys have sunshine, right? We've had a total of 78 minutes of of 80+ degree weather so far this summer. Seriously!! If you've got sunshine, we're coming!!!

Come on down!!!
Mill Valley almost always has fog in the mornings that burns off by 9 or 10AM. Then we have wonderful sunshine for the rest of the day. Normally, we don't get rain from May till November so don't worry about that. Plus, I checked with the weather prognosticators and they said, "your having a TRIPAWD party, we'll guarantee no rain."
So come on down and let's have a PAWTY!!
Ok everypawdy, less than 2 weeks to go before the August Nor-Cal Pawty.
Book your flights, hotels and rental vehicle's, buy additional chips for your digital camera's and get your map to the Mill Valley Dog Park.
Shelby told me to start getting ready because this is almost as exciting as her adoptaversary. On her adoptaversary, she wakes us up just after midninght so she can pawty alllllll day long! She's been eating so many cheeseburgers and fries that In and Out opened a second resturant in Sonoma County.
We're really looking forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones.
13 days and counting!!

OnlineTell Cemil to take it easy and rest up, because he's expected at the September party. It's going to take all our combined manpower and dogpower to defend against Bernie bin Laden on the rampage. All of Southern California is looking forward to it, since that means the lower half of the state can have five days free of him.
As for the Nor Cal crew, bulletproof vests, armored vehicles and digging defensive moats are optional, but strongly recommended.
Howdy, I talked to the weather folks and they say, Fog in the morning, burning off before noon and highs in the mid to upper 70's.
Perfect weather for a pawty, ya'all come now!!!
Shelby went to the chiropractor last evening so she's all straightened up are ready to run amuk!!

OfflineOoh! Our first Tripawd Pawty!
We got the okay from the oncologist that Lylee can come but has to stay quiet but she's cool with that as she prefers people over pups.
Her monkeybutt squirt bro is coming too (and yes we will make him wear a tripawd bandana if there is an extra) – he's a new kid on the block, so no guarantees!
What's the park location?
See you tomorrow!

Well, we'll be sure to post the warning about Bernie Bin Laden's September appearance. Please keep us apprised of the dangers. Thanks!

OfflineHi Joanne,
We meet at the Mill Valley Dog park at around 11:00 am. The web site has some good information with maps and how to get there- but follow these instructions to get to the dog park from the parking area:
The walking to the dog park instructions on their website tell you not to take the bike path- but it is the shortest way to the dog run area- just walk off to the side so you don't get run over!! It's about a quarter mile to the dog run area from parking so take your time.
Walk along the bike path past the first soccer field, there is a path on the left that leads through some trees up (slightly) to the second field. Follow that path until you reach the open end of the park that is the dog run. Look for Shelby's little red wagon, or Spirit Maggie's green stroller, two black pugs, or maybe a Tripawd or two!!
Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow!

p.s. I sent you a PM with my cell phone number.
