QuoteJoin us this Sunday, Oct. 23, 12 noon until 5 PM in downtown Covington, Kentucky (just over the river from Cincinnati) for the MainStrasse Village 10th Annual Dog Costume Paw-rade in Goebel Park. The Paw-rade begins at 2:30 PM.
Lucy, a red and white border collie and the Mayor of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky is the Grand Marshall of the Paw-rade.
There will be a lot of food and shopping! We hope to see you there!

Comet - 1999 to 2011She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh, yes, there will be lots of pictures. It's supposed to be in the mid 50s on Sunday–not too bad for this time of year. Today I baked dog treats to sell, and tomorrow I'm making pumpkin apple muffins for dogs–we can't sell people food.
I've never been to Rabbit Hatch, but their mayor is a dog! She's been mayor since 2008. I'll try to take a photo of her too!

Just saw on the weather that the high on Sunday will be 61 degrees!! EXCELLENT! I made dog biscuits and dog muffins yesterday, and my cousin, who has a 2.5-legged dog that will help on Sunday, also made dog treats! Hope was a GRRAND dog (Golden Retriever Rescue and Adoption of Needy Dogs), and another tripawd GRRAND dog will be there Sunday too! We are so totally ready for this event! We will have 7 people and two dogs working the booth, which should attract a lot of attention in itself. We will animal items for sale (75% clearance sale at CVS=$$ for Tripawds), handouts, and free cute bookmarks with a little metal heart "dangle." Hope would have loved to been there–she was such a ham when it came to special events, and people just couldn't resist a dog that wore a sun visor and sunglasses. She will certainly be there in our hearts………..

Awww we're so thrilled you and your cousin will be there. Wish we could! It sounds like fun. And Hope IS there, definitely, in spirit. That silly gal in the cool shades will always be in your hearts and ours too.
