My friend Terra wants to come with her dog but wonders if a quadpawd can come if he's on all four of his last legs?  Can't wait.  If you google Longmont dog parks a city website comes up with a list but I know we can go anywhere for this!

Certainly, we're not biased. OK maybe a little. But we'll just see who is fastest! ;-)

Hey guys, ignore this post, we're changing the location and it is NOT at the Reservoir. Check out the post from today 7/22. Thanks!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ok everyone, we think we've settled on a location. It sounds great!

Union Reservoir, Longmont

We picked this place because they have an offleash dog beach! Is that cool or what? Ha! Literally!

We've never been there before, so we can't really say anything about the ambiance. But park staff told us that the beach is easily accessible for Tripawds, and it's just a short walk from the parking lot to the water.

What do you think about gathering at 11:00 AM?

Tripawds will bring water and beverages for humans and dogs alike, but how about if we all bring some kind of human snack to share? We're not doing the formal picnic thing, since we probably won't get much time to eat with all of the dog fun happening around us, but since the party is close to lunchtime, snacks might be nice to have!

Let us know what your thoughts are. We are getting really psyched about this Cool

Yay!

Tika and Caya are stoked.  They are ready.  Tomorrow they get to see their joint birthday present that they received with mom.

We got an RV trailer!!  (I do believe Jim and Rene called it)  We had slight trailer hitch problems this evening, something isn't quite right, but we are fixing it.

Anyhow, we are planning our trip.  Tika said I had to make my Tika birthday cookies for all of the tripawds and quadpawds, Salmon munchies. Yummy stuff. (I find it amusing that I feed my dog healthy, holistic foods and me, not so much)  All critter at the farm (2 dogs and 1 cat said paws up).  I'll bring those with plenty of recipe cards because they are easy to make really.

I have been dubbed the great dip queen, so I'll bring a couple of snacky dips for us all.  I love to cook so I'll be happy to.  Anything else we all need, let me know.  In our spare time, we are sailors, so we are used to bringing food for the entire lake, this will be par for the course.

I am so excited to meet everybody.

Hey, count me and Lily in. I just have to figure out how I'm going to keep her separated from everyone else.

OK, my pawrents checked out the Reservoir place today, where we were going to have the pawty, and they decided that it's not the best place for it. The beach is really narrow because the water is high, and the hike to get to it is just too far. We want to reserve our energy for playing, not hiking to get there!

So, we're going to have it at a regular old dog park where we can park close and run amok in a fenced in area. If anyone knows anything about this place let us know. Otherwise, let's just call this the spot. We like that it has shade and water.

Here's the scoop:

Tripawds Dog Pawty

If I am back from Pittsburg, we will be there with Cali!  Are 4-legged pack members also invited?
