We all had so much fun!  Isabelle was astonishing, running around like a puppy at 13 years old!  Ginger is the sweetest, at the center of it all, just enjoying every single thing and sweeping the sand with her tail.   Holly – well, Holly was just socializing with all the monkeybutts on the beach everywhere, now we know why she’s called Holly Jolly by Golly.  She was kind enough to let monkeybutt Zuzu come along; she is well trained in “Jolly”.  Of course, teeny-tiny Trouper was the darling of everyone and just the cutest in his teeny-tiny denim jacket.  And Tate…well, Tate was in the lake.  Silly boy.  Target-rich environment, and he’s nowhere to be found.

Pics forthcoming…

Extra-special thanks to Cynthia for organizing this!  Dog people are cool, but Tripawd people are the coolest! cool

What a great day! We couldn't have placed an order for more perfect weather…a welcome suprise after a dreary year! It was so wonderful to finally meet everyone. Tatespeeps are so right…Tripawds & their people are the best!

The dogs…they had a ball!!! Ginger & Trouper are just so sweet. Didn't see much of Tate (I think he almost swam to Michigan), Holly or Isabelle….but Zuzu did her monkeydog best to capture everyone's attention! Only one casualty…someone's eye was enucleated!…more on that soon….oh-my

I was asked to re-post this from Tate's blog:

We all went to the lake front yesterday and I had so much fun!  Met lots of new dogs.

Here's Isabelle and me meeting.
Here's Trouper and me.
Here's me wanting to meet Ginger but some little
monkeybutt intruder is in the way.
I never really got to meet Holly because she was running
around so much! Here's her mom corralling her.
Here's Isabelle with some purple thing they called Barney.
I bet I could tear that thing up in about 3 minutes flat!
Here's a bunch of us. That human in the middle is not
the Unibomber, it's my mom. On the left is Gary,
Trouper's dad. On the other side is Cynthia, Isabelle's
mom, and then Ginger's peeps, Brian and Annie. In
front is Holly and Zuzu's mom, Susan, but she didn't
know my Dad was taking a picture.
All those dogs are fun, but I like the lake better!
Did someone say "treat"?

All in all, it was an outstanding day!  I hope we do it again sometime soon.

Rick and I had a great time, too and really enjoyed meeting all the dogs and their peeps.  Tripawds peeps really are the best!

My mom is hopeless! Barney's already late for his next appointment, she hasn't got all the photos together—whatever that means…she's not creative, so don't look for any great poetry….Barney got peed on by an intruder Monkeydog….AND he needs surgery! At least he survived the washer & dryer, but he may need a Guide Dog…..

None of this was my fault…..

OH! What a great lookin' get-together!  I would have loved to be there!  Let's have it in Vegas next time because I think it looks cold to me!!

Annie, you look so good and well!  And Cynthia for some reason you look close to what I thought!  (very attractive – you know, under the circumstances of shivering!!)
