If you have not yet heard about it, please read all about the 2 Million Dogs project. Then, register for a Puppy Up! National Walk near you!

After Luke Robinson walked with Hudson and Murphy from Austin to Boston, 2 Million Dogs was formed with the belief that if 2 dogs can walk 2000
miles to bring awareness about cancer, surely 2 million dogs can walk 2
miles. The mission of this initiative will benefit the study of canine cancer and comparative
oncology.

Inaugural walks will be held around the nation on November 7, 2010. Stay tuned for updates.

Let's try to have a Tripawds contingency represented at every walk! Find a Puppy Up! walk near you, or help organize one in your city!

Thanks for letting us know. I won't be able to participate on that date, but Jane & Chloe might be able!

Skyler earned her wings and regained her right rear limb on 6/11/2010. Chloe earned her wings and joined her sister Skyler on 4/4/2011.They are now "Happy Together" with all the other Tripawd heroes and other furbabies that are running free at Rainbow Bridge.

Which one will you be at Laura, Seattle or Auburn?

Heee heee! We had planned on the Auburn one since there's more Tripawds in that area. We would LOVE it if you can make it to that one!

I cannot believe there are NO walks within driving distance of us.  Not Houston, Not Austin.  What's up with that!

I'm going to try to make it to the Poughkeepsie one. Since Champ will just be a little over 2 weeks post-surgery not sure we will be walking but we can be there to support those who are walking. Just need to take a day at a time right now.

Well, it's definitely not too late to start one. Sounds like a great reason to hold a Texas Tripawds pawty! Here's a link to the Start a Walk page on Luke's website. Even if you only get a few people there, it will still make a difference.

ok, this is a serious question:  is it weird to bring concealed ashes to the dog walk?  I always wanted to bring Jackers on a cancer walk and never got the chance…I mean, i have to do something with my free bandana, right?

Weird? Not at all. Jerry will be going with us everywhere as we head South for the winter.

Yeay! For the Auburn one, right?

We still need to sign up! We're on the road and camped in the middle of nowhere Utah without hookups tonight. Our batteries are running low and we gotta get off our computers now (uh huh, we travel 1st class, can you tell?!). We'll figure out the details tomorrow, stay tuned.
