Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to give an update on Leo, my Doberman I recently wrote about. I have scheduled his amptation surgery for Sept 18th. I am very nervous but this gives me time to get prepared. I will keep you all updated on Leo's progress.

By the way - does anyone know where I can get a larger bottle of K9 Immunity ? I run out of it way too fast and I have not been able to find anyplace that carries a larger bottle.

Thanks,

Sheri & Leo

Hi Sheri and Leo,

I don't know about the K9 immunity (Jerry might) but we will definitely be sending all the good vibes we can Leo's way.  Please keep us posted on how he does.

Hi Sheri,

A few months back, I happened to run into Birkdale Medicinals. They have K-9 Immunity and K-9 Transfer Factors in bulk, which works out to be less expensive than from Aloha Medicinals.

Wish Leo the best of luck on his surgery.

Hugs,

Jessie

Hi Sheri and Leo - just wanted to send a note to let you know that Smokey and I will be thinking of you!  Smokey just went through his amputation on August 20th... once we made the decision we had to wait a month until the surgery and I was a complete nervous wreck.  I would check this forum daily and talk to friends and family about it.... it wasn't until we got Smokey was home the first day before I realized how relieved I was that he was home and was doing well!   It took me forever to even make this decision but true to what everyone else has said, I am glad that I made it... and it is absolutely amazing how resilient our pups are!  I trusted everyone, but it definitely didn't sink in for me until I had him home after his surgery and saw him progress with my own eyes.  And I didn't think this was possible, but I love him even more now than I did before!  And that's A LOT 🙂

Best of luck!  I'll be checking back to see how everything is going....

Smokey and his very grateful owner, Tori

We're thinking of you Sheri and Leo - you will (both) be OK...we were all scared at first and the first couple days after amputation are scary and the first couple weeks are difficult, but once you get past that, you will be amazed how quickly life returns to (almost) normal. You make your adjustments here and there and learn very quickly to live in the moment and treasure the time we all have.

Keep us posted - we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Love

Leo, my Mom just talked to Aloha Medicinals today, makers of K9 Immunity , and they do in fact sell larger bottles. They have K9 Immuunity in a 500 count bottle for $267.95, and for K9 Transfer Factor, they have a 120 day supply for $120.

Hope this helps.

Good luck Leo! Your going to do great. I try to surprise my Mom and Dad everyday...sometimes it's just by walking outside by myself to take a good poo...isn't that funny...I didn't get all that praise before for my poos. Oh well, I'm on day 7 post surgery and starting to get the knack of things and I'm an old guy so please don't worry!! We will be thinking of you.
