Dakota and Zeuspod, we've been trying a new treatment for hemangiosarcoma and Percy's vets think that that may have helped. It is a combination of carboplatin and another chemo drug vinorelbine. Carboplatin alone did not work for us — Percy's mets grew while he was taking that.

Cathy, Percy says that everyone gets as many treats as they would like!!

Jac and Angel Spencer. Spencer was 5.25 years old. He fought a grade 3 fibrosarcoma, started on his shoulder. Left front leg amputated in August 2011. 15 weeks of chemo finished 12/22/11 (mytox and adria). Lung mets found on x-rays 12/28/11. Started carboplatin 1/6/12. Went to Heaven on 2/27/12. Justjac, I wasn't sure if you saw the post above – tells which drugs they were trying.

Zeus is an 11.5 year old Husky mix who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in Nov. 2011 and underwent a front right leg amputation on 12/1/11. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit who is in the fight of his life. http://zeuspod......pawds.com/
