It's been a hot minute since I've posted. Thought I'd start a new thread since I'm no longer "freaking out". I still can't figure out the picture thing, but truthfully I've been too busy to just sit down & look at it & try.

Sierra has been doing really really well! She is loving her Physical Therapy appointments. She's going twice a week. This is week #3 of them & I dropped her off this morning. She pulls me in the door, and collects treats from the receptionist while she waits to be taken back. It's good to see this since this is the same facility where her leg was amputated & she was checked in for a few days when she was in pain with the back leg infecion. She's let that go & is happy to see her friends. The PT is really paying off. She is actually running in (super) short spurts now. clap

I bought a ramp / step for my couch to help her up & down. Of course the turd won't use it. But her four legged sisters love it. Sheesh! And yesterday I was working on paperwork at about bedtime in the dining area & noticed her not around. I found her in bed looking quite satisfied with herself. We have no ramp. Brat! I fussed at her. She knows to wait for me to pick her up & put her in. I'm gonna have to figure something out. Hate to lock them out of my room during the day, but I don't want to chance her jumping down from my bed by herself.

We are moved in to our one level apartment. The unpacking / organizing continues at a slow but steady pace. We have carpet runners & non skid mats everywhere, but as she's improving, she is venturing off of them with no problems.

One thing that has me on edge is her sister India. She has a lump at the top of her left hip (and you know how us cancer mama's are... we jump right to the worst conclusion). Well, her vet looked at it about 2 months or so ago & said it's just a fatty cyst. But it feels too hard to me to be that. Now I'm noticing her stumbling occasionally in her back legs. And yesterday I noticed her picking her back left leg up and then putting it down. It was slight. Almost like a nervous tick. So I'm calling the vet this morning & seeing when I can get her in. Please send my India baby some positive vibes!

I'll update soon I promise! Hugs to all!

Melinda 🌺 this is such a great update, you’re in your new nest and Sierra is obviously feeling good otherwise she wouldn’t be cheeky and you wouldn’t have to lock your room ☺️

As for India ... oh boy, do we know how to jump to worst scenario around here ...

You are doing the right thing getting it checked, sweetie 🌺

The fact the vet has mentioned is was a fatty cyst s couple of months back is reassuring and I’d bet that’s what it is.

But, in your place, I would also get a vet’s opinion for peace of mind, asap.

I am sending a tsunami of pawsitive energy your way, please let us know what vet said as soon as you can.

Hugs and cuddles 😘🐮✨💫🌟🌹

YAAAAAAAAY  FOR SIERRA!!😃😃😃   SOOOO HAPPY TO JEAR SHE'S DOING SO WELL!!

HAHAHA....the four leggers ise the ramp, but she won't! Tripawd dogs can be so silly sometimes!

Ueah, any "lump" sends us hoomans over the cliff!  And almost always a lump is just a lump!  Especially  in India's case where it appears ro be a fatty thing.

The limping may be completely  coincidental.  Could br a "tweak" or a bit of arthritis,  any number of minor things.

Getting  things checked for reassurance  is always a good idea.

Sending  lots 9f pawsitive energy  India's way.

Again, thrilled  that Sierra is Sierra again!

Hugs

OHHH!!! PS... worst Mommy ever that I forgot to post this yesterday...

But yesterday was Sierra's 14th Birthday! Also known as the 12th anniversary of her gotcha day. heart Their guess was that she was 2, but the vet said more like 2 1/2 or 3 ... but we're thinking young... So happy 14th Birthday to my Sweet P Sierra!

I took her to the doggie bakery after I picked her up from PT and she picked out some treats & a bone shaped cake with her name on it. The girls at the bakery spoiled her with peanut butter frosting & lots of treats.
