Thanks everyone, life is good when your puppy feels good right?  I am humming along, cleaning and watching him snoozing in the corner.  It is a pretty great day.

Fortis's dad, I used to live in Brownfield, Tx, and I know what you mean.  It was either hot, insanely so, to the upteenth degree, or 15 degrees with a wind chill factor of 30 below.  Not to mention the nuclear green monster bugs that swarm in the millions and get caught in your hair.  Maybe I don't have fond memories of Texas because just like the song, that is where my ex is…. There is no average days out in west Tx, anyway.

I love it here today, the fall colors are starting to come out.  There was dew on the ground this morning and with the rising sun hitting it on a very clear morning, everything was so sparkly and cool.  It was 53 degrees in the am, with a promise of a perfect day at 72 degrees for the high.  The tree's are all changing color, and it had a real clean feel to the air.  I can feel the changing of the seasons and I love that.

Chloe's mom, thanks for the best wishes for today!  CBC is blood cell count.  I guess he needs to be at least 2000 for his white count to be able to continue his chemo treatments, and to be out of the woods as far as other stuff goes.  I am not really sure as this is our first time with this all, but we need to find out the platelet counts, the White blood cell counts, and something else.  We will also check again the day before his next chemo.

Back to work I go, the house is rampantly overrun with giant furry dust bunnies,

We call those 'puppies', because they are more hair related than dust related :), and there are usually enough of them to cover a small dog.  I don't know how Trouble can lose so much hair and not be bald!

We too are enjoying beautiful fall days here in the mountains, as the Aspens turn gold and we prepare the trailer to hit the road again before the snow really starts to fly … had our first flurry the other day!

My husband is from CO, he would be so jealous being a snowmobiler to hear that you saw snow!  We have a RV but will be trading it in for a 5th wheel.  We want to do more of what you're doing!  Be safe, and take plenty of pictures :)
