I'm definitely nervous about picking up Troy. Thank God for this site. It was the only thing I could read yesterday while he was in surgery that put my mind at ease.

We have the house ready so I feel good about that. I'm a "plan for the worst, hope for the best" kind of person and I feel like I'm prepared to take on the next 2 weeks but still scared. I've never done anything like this before.

Thank you so much to the admins who manage this site. It's literally been my go to source to know what to anticipate when he gets home.

Hi Jess, welcome and thanks for registering as a member, your future posts won't need approval so post away.

Your very kind words about the Tripawds community are greatly appreciated, thank you so much, it made our day. We're glad that you found comfort here. Of course you're still scared! We all were and most of us had never dealt with the situation, so we totally get what you're feeling. If you need anything at all you can post here or call the Tripawds Helpline or hop over to the Chat Room (you'll usually find folks there in the evening).

Good luck today! We send you lots of love & wishes for a speedy recovery. Keep us posted.
