Montana had a great day today!  She got some acupuncture and chiropractic work done and had her stitches taken out.  The best part of the day was when we caught her laying on her back...something she did all the time before her surgery, but not since until today.  It was great to see her comfortable enough to do this.  I updated her blog with more details about the visit to the vets today for anyone who is interested.

Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your support!  We've made it to two weeks and hope for many more!

Big News Update!

I just called Torsten on my lunch break to see how Monty was and he said "It's like having the old Monty back!"  She is doing SO well since her appointment yesterday!  Apparently, when Torsten picked up his keys to go out for a bit, she got up and went to the front door and whined at him--a good whine, like "Hey, don't leave me!".  She went on some errands with him today, and had her head out the car window the whole time.

Okay, major lesson learned...don't freak out at a poor diagnosis...get a second opinion!  I'm so glad we tried alternative therapy:-)
