Montana had her front left leg amputated on Mar 3, she moved pretty good the first few days and each day since she moves worse and less. It appears the mucles in her rear legs are very tense on verge of cramping. Has anyone else have this problem, she sees the vet tommorrow about it. I am concerned about her mobility.
I don't remember specifically like Wrigley was cramping, but during those first 2 weeks of recovery she did seem really good in the beginning then on the 2nd week hardly moved at all, then was much better after the drugs were done and 2 weeks were over. I do know now - after almost 3 months, there are days when she favors one of her back legs as if it were very sore- we make her really rest when that happens and give it some gentle massage. You may try gently massaging the back legs- Good thing you are getting a checked by the vet- we will send pawsitive thoughts your way. Stay strong. Keep us posted .

We've heard of cramping. Yeah, like Seanne and Wrigley said, try gentle massage and maybe light heat. We will keep you in our thoughts, let us know what the vet says tomorrow. Good luck.
