(OMG! I got the math question wrong and am having to re-write this post! Maybe I should go to bed, since it's 2AM…..nah…)

I totally think the cutting board story is hilarious too, and nearly spewed my water all over my laptop! I was telling hubs about Debra's taxidermy idea and he thought that if we were going though all that effort, we would have to attach it somewhere weirder, like have it stick out her side. ha ha!!

Love the carrier pidgeon comment. LOL I, myself, was having visions of a renagade circus lion running down the street with it. oh-my Tika's pic is adorable – doped up dogs look especially cute, don't you think?

We already shed a bucket of tears over all this, and since you either laugh or cry, I prefer the former. laughing

Oh, and here's my sister's Facebook update from today and my husband's reply.

Erica: I came home to find sausages drying on the chandelier. WTH, are we gypsies?! Think I'll set up a yurt and herd yaks around the dining room with a stick.

David B: Ahhhhhhhhhh!! We wondered what happened to Mika's leg!!!!

(She was referring to the homemade meat products her boyfriend is curing. lol)

Trouble's leg went to a Veterinary school for further evaluation and confirmed diagnosis.  These were also the folks who consulted on her chemo.  I didn't give much thought to how it got there, but I'm assuming it was FedEx or UPS..Aw Shucks

"but I'm assuming it was FedEx or UPS" or the mailman – talk about getting the last laugh. Mika doesn't mind FeEx so much, but she HATES the FedEx truck. I guess brown's not her color… laughing

Mika, those video links aren't working. Drats!

Yaks in the living room….mmmmmm, yak poop.

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

Yes, but think of all the fresh PINK yak milk you could drink, just an udder away! (Say it with me now, "Yaaaak miiiilk…" – ala Homer Simpson)

Oh and try clicking on the captions (e.g. "Mika’s first steps"), since I hyperlinked those after I gave up on trying to embed them.
