OfflineShe sounds like she is doing great!
It took Maggie a few months to get back her strength. She was a little pug, but eventually could walk a mile on her own (she was a rear amp). You might check out the rehab and strengthening information here for ideas on exercise, and not overdoing it.

So glad to hear Sadie O. is doing well! Thanks for the update.
Sounds like Sadie is doing just great! Chloe also was quite the runner before amputation and I thought she might never again…boy was I WRONG! She too after one week post amp just wanted to GO GO GO! It was so hard to restrict her activity since I didn't want her to over do it and then have to carry a 60lb dog back on my own….
But after her staples came out, she was back to chasing her squeaker toys and having only 3 legs didn't phase her. Hoping for more good updates about Sadie!

OfflineCooper is a left front leg amp and he had a time figuring out how to lay down. He just dropped and plopped the first few weeks, and always on the incision side. I always cringed but it never seemed to bother him. Eventually he learned to lie down like a cow he slides his remaining front leg way out in front and lowers his nose to the ground then eases his butt down last.

OfflineCooper's Dad, Trouble does exactly the opposite. She gets her butt down and then slideds the remaining front leg out. They are so adaptable!
