Kenmore got those stitches out tonight! I am so happy! He was the center of attention in the vets-again. The Dr is very pleased- another Vet we havent seen before came to talk to us about how amazing Kenmore is. Then we stopped to see out favorite "aunt" and finally home to dinner. Kenmore did get some of his big cookie..right now he's all curled up-dreaming of his Thanksgiving camping trip. In 2 weeks we start  a Neoplasene protocol. More things to learn but so many more days of puppy love.

take care & thank you,

mandy & Kenmore

That is just wonderful Mandy. I'm so happy for you and Kenmore. Your journey is just beginning and so much beauty and magic lies before you. Embrace the time granted you and allow it to work it's magic. I have and I'm forever thankful for it.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family,

And this is exactly the kind of recovery to be thankful for! What great news for you all, we are thrilled!

As you start the Neosplasene protocol, we would love to hear more about it. Be sure to start a new topic so we can follow along OK?

Hoppy Thanksgiving!

Pawsome post!  Yay Kenmore!  We're so glad that you get to go camping for Thanksgiving – can't wait to hear about it when you get home. And let us know more about the protocol Kenmore will be on – I'm always interested in learning more about what works for our pups.

Keeping fingers and paws crossed for many more pawsitive posts about Kenmore!

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

We're home. Uneventful trip for us, yay! I was nervous whenever kenmoresdad picked him up & into or out of the truck. But Husband has been picking up Kenmore since  day we brought him home- so Kenmore  is ok with it. Kenmore did have a bit of a stumble on the wood around the site, but recovered with no big deal. Kenmore even accomplished cocking up his leg once or twice without tipping over! He did get tired quicker so we didnt take him too far from the campsite. He did meet some new people friends and barked at the other camping dogs.

thanks for all the warm thoughts- mandy & Kenmore

will try to get some pix & video posted from our trip

Pawesome news guys! I know, it's nervewracking trying to help a new Tripawd without worrying about injuring the incision area. But believe me, we're tougher than you think! Keep up the great work and let us know how it goes.
