Hi Brady's mom,

Sorry Brady's still hacng some pain issues. You'll see from the link above and as Admin. metio ed, the Gabapentin should help. Unfortnately, phantom pain does happen with sme dogs. It does go away!

I do want to throw out smething that, n rare occasions nas happened here. a stitch, or piece of stitch was left in and would cause off and on discomfort that showed up a little later n the recovery. Of I recall, it can give the same appearamce as phantom paoj. orth checkng nto tomorrow.

would love to hear more avout Brady AND pictures when you can!

Please update us as son as you can.

Take care! It will get better!! Hang in there!!

The stump that shakes is usually because the dog wants to scratch and they can't. When you see that scratch their hears and under the muzzle. Eventually they figure out how to do it. Mine scratches under her muzzle by rubbing it on the carpet or her paws. Then they figure out to switch side and use the other leg. They do ajust and sometimes they will come to you so you can do it for them. Hope this help. Gin
