She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Yay – so pleased it all went well and that we all helped put your mind at ease about the amputation. Hope her recovery continues to go well. I had to laugh when you said the kids want to adopt her, our two are very protective of Kayla and love her to bits. It must be a hard choice to make but I bet that little one will always have a place in your heart no matter where she lives.
