Great thinking to get the cry out now! Also, get a good night sleep so you'll be ready when you get him tomorrow. You'll do great – the anxiety will go away a bit once you get him and then you'll just start figuring it out. Hang in there! Xoxo Sue and Sammy

Baxter comes home today!!!! I'll be so glad to see my little guy!
The vet's update last night was excellent. Baxter is walking around, being nosey about everything at the office, barking at anything and really doing well. The vet said he was actually going to give him a little sleepy medicine so Baxter would slow down and get some rest so he can heal. He may be small, but he is mighty!

Coming home is a great day. It is the first day of the new normal. It takes a few days to begin to adjust, but all will be well. Some of the pups don't do so well on the pain meds, but that only lasts 7 – 10 days and then the true personality will again emerge.

Yea for coming home!  Sounds like he is doing well.

He may be small, but he is mighty!

That is awesome!

I hope he continues to do well.  Let us know how he is doing once he gets home.

Wonderful!!!  I know you'll be so happy to see him!

The beauty of a small dog is you can pick them up!  Some will say don't do it but for me…I like to ruin dogs and make them momma's babies! (that's what my mom always tells me and she's thankful I don't have kids to ruin!)

Let us know how he is doing at home!
