Nice to get such a good update! So glad A'Tuin is chasing squirrels a d having a great time being a happy tripawd! Living on the moment being loved and spoiled.

Keep on doing good A'Tuin! You are such a ha dsme voy! You look ever so striking in your picture! Love your coloring.

Really glad to hear you're switching to carboplatin. It seems to have the leasr side effects of all chemo drugs. I know doxo. can really plah havoc with the heart and dogs have t be monitored closely. Is Laura an Oncologist vet? Just wondering. I know she's been veryhelpful to you.

Does A'Tuin need to wait ntil all the Doxo. is completely out of his system before he starts Carboplarin?

Keep js posted and give your Grandma a hug for us...one for you and ne for A'Tuin too!

Paws crossed ne sails through the chemo!

Keep it up, A'Tuin!  Looking as good as ever!  (I won't hold the Wildcats against you....I'm a SunDevil!)

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Our funny little guy!

Haha! A'Tuin and I won't hold the ASU against you either :)

I'll put a link to the blog below, but the big news out of it is that there is NO, I repeat, NO heart murmur! Yay! Oh, and another clean chest radiograph :) Also, someone asked about Laura - she did her residency in small animal, but has always had an interest in oncology. So, just a small animal vet, not a vet oncologist.

Thank you all for all of your encouragement and support! Hugs from me and A'Tuin. Here's the link for the blog: http://unconven.....chemo.html

A'Tuin's story can be found on my personal blog along with a dash of my life and poetry.

I said goodbye to my puppy love on 5/15/14 after more than tears years of the greatest love I've ever known.

Glad to see that beautiful A'Tuin!
Sounds like you've been have some well deserved fun! And your Mema too! she looked so cute bundled up in ner blanket n tne porch!

Yeah, I had asked if your sweet Laura was anoncologist. Just curious, is she co sulting with one for A'Tuin's treatment? I know it wasn't my vet's area of expertise and he referred usout to a specialist.

So A'tuin is recovering well now that the side effects of that other chemo treatment have gone away? Hoping so! She's such a sweet girl!

Wishing you and A'Tuin the very, very best Keep on doing great A'Tuin! We're all cheerng for you! You both are a great team!
