Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue (AGPR) just posted this beautiful male Pyr tripawd. They're a great group, we adopted our Pyr-mix Ellie from them.

Here's some information:

Philo is a 5-year-old male Great Pyrenees. He is a laid-back and very lovable dog. Philo has three legs but gets around very well. He is great on a leash and enjoys taking walks. Philo is gentle and enjoys lots of love and attention. He is housebroken and crate trained. You can meet him in Richmond, Va.

All Great Pyrenees require a fenced-in back yard. If you have questions about the breed or our adoption policies and procedures, please go to our website at http://www.agprescue.org.

Our adoption application is online! http://agprescu.....plication/

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

Oh good grief!!!! He looks like a big snuggly adorable guy.......sharing on Tanner and Rosco's facebook right now.

Sally - you are funny. If we had a huge place Eric would definitely be in trouble, I'd have a houseful!

I'm thrilled to know he may have a new home soon. I love his dark badger markings. He's a handsome fellow and I bet he's a real love-bug.

Hooray!!!! This is great news!!!! We've met the AGPR at some of the local dog events, they have always been so nice and the dogs are just gorgeous and well taken care of (Eric loves Great Pyrenees). I've shared this guy on Tanner and Rosco's facebook page - please keep us updated, I'd love to report his adoption!!

rbow - Are you in Richmond? We have an unofficially official Virginia tripawd club!

There is no specific "Richmond group" but plenty of members in the Virginia area!
