Hi everyone! I was browsing the web on deformed/tripod dogs/puppies and came upon this site. Everything I have read so far on here is very helpful and it seams everyone is trying to help each other out!! Well I just packed up my whole life to move out west and I made a stop to visit my family in Georgia before continuing on my journey. Sunday night my brother and his friends found 4 puppies abandoned on the side of the road skinny, scared, and full of ticks and fleas!! 2 of the boys adopted 2 of the puppies but now there are 2 girls left. They were all taken to the vet and are healthy and happy. They are a corgi/beagle/other mix and will be around 40-50 lbs. The one of the puppies has a deformed front leg and the vet thinks she will have to have it amputated when she is 6 months old. I know even if she got into a no kill shelter she would never leave and I don't want that to happen to her. I want her to have a forever home where I know she will be loved and taken care of. I already have a pound puppy (he's 4) and he isn't doing well with the puppies and I am worried there will be fights. I am at a loss and I know it is going to take a very special person to take her in. She has her first set of shots and we are working on potty training right now. I am not in a position to be able to keep her considering I don't have a home right now, and since I'm staying with my family they are not too thrilled to have 2 puppies under foot!! I have pictures if anyone wants. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! We are located in North Georgia. I have posted on facebook and a website for disable animals adoptions and assistance. If you can think of anything else I can do to help her find a forever home please let me know. Thanks for reading this.

Hi!

We adopted a tripaw from perfect pets rescue, they work with friends of the dekalb county animal shelter, not sure how close they are to you but they have a FB page and may be able to get the word out, another great link who may help spread the word is the FB page for zaxby the chicken wing dog, also a Georgia based tripod dog. Good luck and thanks so much for helping her.
