I am so shocked that such a special teeny-tiny dog is still available.  This is a problem for me because we'll be in Maryland next weekend.

We probably don't need a fifth dog and my husband works at the Humane Society so he's always telling me about amazing dogs and cats sitting there forever.  But this one is so cute.

We have 12 rescued pets and there are always so many more who need a home and a bed to hog.  I wish we could do more.  Please let this one go home before our trip!

Yes, she is very special but she is ready to go in four weeks and many more will need to be fostered and trained in a loving home (minus the mean beagle who keep instigating the squabbles, she has since been adopted to a loving only dog home).  If I collect them all I won't have any time left to train the next one that needs a home.  Could you imagine, someone probably dumped her off because they didn't want to take her to the vet for a simple mamory cist removal?  She was found running down a busy back road, back and forth!  How sad that no one claimed her, I'd have been looking all over for her!  The economy isn't helping at all as many are dumped/abandoned all over due to financial reasons alone.  She would probably do best with less other dogs anyway….though you sound like a great home.

Thank you for doing what you do.  I'm relieved to know she wouldn't be ready yet!

She won't be ready unless someone wants to get the cist removed and her spayed.  Her appt. is 12 June.  I estimated a 2 week recovery period before adopting her to a new home.  I just always feel better only letting them go when all vet issues are resolved.
