We have learned that she gets along well with most polite male dogs, but would not recommend a home for her with other female dogs. Her favorite toy in the world is a kong and she does not show any food/toy aggression towards the dogs she gets along with. She'll even eat out of the same bowl as her foster brother!
She gets around like nobody's business; the missing leg does not hold her back at all. She's very sweet and people oriented and would enjoy spending lots of time in your lap watching TV!
Thanks to all for the finanacial help we got for Portia, she is now on the mend, recovering from her leg amputation. Portia is a nice, friendly and loving girl who can run and play just like any other dog. She is now looking for a loving forever home.
All MMBR Dogs are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, checked and treated for both internal and external parasites, microchipped and treated for any and all medical conditions that we are aware of.

Awwwww… geeze… she is beautiful. I love brindles. Wish I could take her, but with the Queen and her lady-in-waiting, it would not be a fit.

If anyone outside of Michigan wants this pretty girl, count me in as a "Cannonpaw Run" driver! I'll drive a couple states if it means getting a Tripawd to a furever home.
