"Buster was born in October of 2008. At some point early on, he broke his right rear leg. It healed badly and needed to be amputated when we got him. Having only 3 legs is not a detriment to Buster. He gets around very well. He is a very well behaved puppy. He currently weighs around 50 pounds and we feel he will be a smaller male when fully grown. Buster does well with the other dogs, but may be too playful for tiny breeds or cats."
This is a SWEET boy! If anyone in MN is interested in him, contact me (greyhoundmama@earthlink.net) and I can work with Heartland to bring him up (I run MN Greyhound Rescue). If you're in WI, you can contact me too and we'll figure out how to get him to WI. Jorene at Heartland is willing to work with another rescue group to get Buster to his forever home.

Thanks for the great work you do with the Greys! We'll keep our paws crossed that he finds a home. Keep us posted!

Comet came from a dog hoarder and was born with a deformed front leg. She was sassy and bossy but oh so much fun! She lost her brother, Rugby in 2009 and got Monkeybutt, the king of Monkeydogs! He was the most annoying dog ever to a tripawd!
