bonnie is at the blount county humane society, across the river from us in ET, and is now heading to foster care.  here's a link to her page, she is a cutie!!  our inn is full, but maybe there's someone out there who could give her a forever home!!

bonnie was pulled from the shelter for concern of her leg she was unable to use at all. After weeks of monitoring the bchs vet decided that amputating the leg was the only way to go. Bonnie has had a long few weeks, but is on her road to recovery. She is getting ready to go into foster care, and if all goes well she will be available for adoption within the next couple weeks.

This poor girls life has been a very hard one, but she has a gentleness about her that is unmistakeable. BCHS can't wait to see this sweet girl move onto the next chapter in her life; happy, content, and with her precious 3 legs!

I can't tell what type of dog Bonnie is from the pics, but if she's purebred it may be helpful to contact the local breed rescue.  Trapper's journey started in an animal shelter, but it was Illinois Shorthair Rescue that took over and footed all the bills for his surgery and rehab.  They were able to find several generous sponsors for his care.  And then they fostered him until they found him his forever home with me.
