WooHOO, it worked!!! For future reference:

In Firefox > Menu > Privacy > Under History, Clear history when Firefox closes, "settings" > Active logins (make sure it's UNCHECKED).

Whew...well that was fun.

Sincerely,

A Chrome fan

I can post OK, but it keeps logging me out after every session, even though I always check the "remember me" button.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Yeah, I think that's what the Admin Guy and Sista' Elizabeth are trying to address.

The thing is, when I try and follow Elizabeth's bery clear Firefox steps, I don't have anything like her screen on my tavlet. questionAnd I think you jave a tavlet too, right Kathi?

Be careful, cause it'll log you out right in the middle of a post too.little-devil

Mine is an iPad. I think that is the one Admin suggested.

I'm not having any trouble posting, but like Kathi I have to log in every time even though the 'remember me' box is checked.

Well, it just happened to me, too. I had to log in twice. The first time it didn't work. Then I wrote a post remembering Murphy on his six month angelversary, hit the post button and the "not authorized" screen came up and told me to log in. Just like that, my whole post disappeared into the Ethernet! No way to retrieve a draft, since I didn't save the page before I posted.

Gremlins!

That just happened to me... I typed a post and got logged off and the post wasn't saved.

Details:

I am on a mac book pro using my wireless, firefox as browser.   I typed a response to this post by new member rottiematilda. Mine would have been post # 6.  I typed my response, never left the page or anything like that.  When I hit 'submit reply' I was taken to the log in screen.  My name, password and 'remember me' box were already filled in.  I hit log in and went to the Tripawds main page.  I navigated back to the thread and my post was not there.

Before this happened I had already logged in and posted in two other forums. However, at one point the site reloaded I think when I was going between forums, but I didn't pay attention to whether I was logged in or not at that point.  So it could be that I was logged out going between forums- but that shouldn't happen either...
