Thanks for the clarification on the h3.  So now I can write like this all the time!  That won't get annoying will it?

Oh, maybe h5 will even go bigger!

It just happened again - now at 7.54 while I was typing a big ol' long reply to Rocky's mom about building up his stamina. Sigh. lost it. Bummer.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Bummer indeed.

  1. Please confirm you're talking about on the iPad only.
  2. Please tell us what editor you were using at the time. (tinyMCE/Rich Text with Toolbar or Plain Text)
  3. If the latter, did you change it?
  4. If the former, have you tried changing it as suggested?

We're working with the developers who need this information if we are to work on a solution. But unfortunately you can expect the behavior to continue if ever using the tinyMCE editor on a mobile device. So if you notice the toolbar, change the preferred editor from your Profile before posting. If it's happening with the plain text editor, we need to know.

Thanks!

Silly cometdog... heading styles get smaller as the number goes up, if the styles exist.

<h1> is largest.

Yep - it was the iPad.

No tool bar, so it's the Plain Text editor. I didn't change it. (I haven't ever changed it - don't even know how.) 🙂

Hope that helps.

For some reason it def'ly isn't as bad as it was the other day. The other day it happened as soon as I'd type just a sentence or two, but today I've been able to post some longer messages without problem.

Thanks you! This information will help greatly. Just be prepared that unexpected behavior can be expected when using these forums on mobile devices until further notice. And if it does happen again, we suggest changing your default editor to Plain Text from your profile to see if that helps.

Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience.

I've been trying to change my user avatar, and have been having some issues.  In my dashboard, I have uploaded a new profile image and it shows up fine -- cropped, everything a-okay -- but when I go to look at my profile, the previous image is still there (and on my posts, too).  Help?!!!

(It's not that I don't like the Party Woo picture, it's just that it was for the Feb Furballs pawty month, and since February is over, I thought I'd swap it for a less festive look.)

It looks OK now - I'm not seeing her Feb Furballs pawty pic anymore. She looks very Spring-y in her lovely pink TWP cape!

Your browser is likely displaying the cached version. You can force reload the page, clear your browser cache, or wait and the new image will eventually refresh. This is a common issue with any image file that has been changed while keeping the same file name, which is the case with avatars here. It is not related in any way to our recent forums upgrade, just coincidental timing. And you're not alone, it has been asked many times before! smiley

Thanks Admin guy!

I thought I'd done a refresh, but I guess maybe I didn't...  Next time, though, I will be able to fix this on my own laughing
