First, there are no embarrassing questions here!

There are no settings in your dashboard that will affect how your comments appear on other member blogs, or in the feed.

We did notice your comment on Jerry's recent announcement and see now that is is not in the Global Comments Feed, so thanks for pointing that out.

Please try removing the apostrophe from your display name and posting another comment on any recent blog post or any post in this Tripawds Test Blog. (That apostrophe is the reason members cannot post quoted replies to your forum posts, which we hope to address with a pending upgrade, so it may also be causing this issue.)

That is only because those blogs don't recognize you as having commented before. Please comment on the test blog I linked to above, or Jerry's blog (any post). The we can see if that was the issue. Thanks!

FYI: Your comments are now appearing in the Tripawds Global Comments feed, and in the Recent Blog Comments widget throughouth Jerry's blog. We believe the apostrophe in the username was they reason they were not, and removing it is the only recommended fix, for now.

A note to any user who has included punctuation in their display name: Your comments will not appear in the Tripawds Global Comments feed, or in the Recent Blog Comments widget unless you remove the punctuation. (Not sure if this includes Monkeybutt – King of the Monkeydogs! since he rarely comments on blogs and his forum comments can be quoted.) Apostrophes and semicolons are used in PHP to punctuate calls, so those should be removed.
