my avatar is MIA.  i tried to follow the directions to find/replace it…and i keep getting 'error on page'…  please help me.  i turned the A/C up, i took off my shoes, i even hopped on one foot and turned around three times…but i am at a loss…..

yikes, i figured-ed it out!!  i put my shoes on, screwed in the light bulb, and emptied my cache (i didn't even know i had a cache!!).  just never mind………

hi there – i loaded my avatar the first time no problem. i wanted to change honey's pic and the dashboard won't let me! maybe she's just too adorable?!?  winker  i've cleared out the cache a bunch of times and i keep getting an error message when i click 'browse' to find the pic to upload.  Any thoughts?

can you recommend a photo-sharing site? i've tried a bunch of them so that i can put pics of honey in my posts and not having sucsess there either – i think i need an in-house IT person!

My Avatar is MIA as well, and I too am getting the 'Error on Page' warning.

I have logged out and then back in, no difference.

I am sure it will be fixed soon, or someone will tell me what I am doing wrong. Can't wait to get my beautiful girl's picctue back up for all to see.

I am getting the error on page as well when I wanted to change my avatar. When I click browse I get error on page

Just checked it and YEP – there's a glitch for sure. 

 

Admin – looks like a javascript error.  When you click 'browse' to find the pic from your computer - the window won't pop up and there is an error saying, GET THIS  – "error on page".

 

Just confirmed there is a JS error through the developer tool on IE.  But that's as far as my knowledge goes.

Sorry for the troubles. We're looking into this. Since we cannot replicate the issue, the more information users can provide, the better we can identify some sort of common cause. If you're having trouble, please let us know:

  • What browsers do you use?
  • What version?
  • What operating system?
  • Sreenshots are always helpful.

We'll report back ASAP.

OK. We're still troubleshooting this, but could use some feedback…

If you have a blog and are experiencing trouble uploading your avatar, please ensure that you are logged into your blog dashboard. Note the title of the blog in the top left of your dashboard. If it says "Tripawds" click the Dashboard -> My Sites link, switch to your blog (Note the title change at top left of your dashboard) and attempt uploading the avatar again. Please report back here with results.

If you do not have a blog and care to help nail down this issue, create a blog and follow the steps above.

If you do not have a blog and don't want to create one but would like us to change your avatar for you, send Jerry a small photo along with your username.
