Ive tried several times to get a user name and password but every time i hit "gimme a user name" it takes me back to the same sign up screen. It has never assigned me a password so I cant access the chat on the site.
Help?

Sorry for the inconvenience. You're the first to report such an issue. It usually indicates that all the required fields were not filled in and/or that the user name is already taken. If the sign-up page reloads, pay close attention to the small text above fields indicating missing information.

No worries – just not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried at least 10 unique user names and it just keeps routing me back to the same registration block. When I hit "Next" if it accepts my user name, what screen should I be getting?

Upon successful creation of the user account, you should see notification that an activation email has been sent. Your account will not be created until you click the link within that email. Please ensure that you are using a valid email address and that all required fields are completed.
If all else fails, send us your email address and desired user name. We can manually create the account, but you still must activate it via the emailed confirmation link.
Also please ensure that your browser has javascript enabled, and that it will accept cookies.

Also, please note that your username must inlcude lower case letters or numbers only, no spaces or other characters are allowed. You must also check the Terms Of Service "I Agree" box.
Not sure what else could possibly be going on, we just successfully tested account creation via the signup form.
