QuoteFollow these instructions to add social networking buttons to your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts to your Tripawds Forums profile:
- Click your Profile button at top right.
- Select the tab titled "Your Online Identity"
- Enter your username or account name in the desired fields.
- Click "Update Profile" and return to the Forums to see you buttons!
For any of the sites you enter a value, buttons will automatically appear under your user Avatar next to all your forum posts and in your Forums profile viewable by Tripawds members.
NOTE: Include only your user/account name where indicated. Do not include http:// and the website URL (i.e.; facebook.com) or the button link will not redirect properly. Here is an example of the values entered for properly displaying our buttons…
Test your buttons after adding them and post a reply to this topic with any questions.

We've noticed a number of members have bad links for their Facebook and LinkedIn buttons. To make these buttons work properly, you must add only the part of the URL that appears after whatever.com/
For instance, the Tripawds Twitter stream is located at twitter.com/tripawds so the proper entry for the Twitter field is tripawds.
Another example is the Tripawds Gifts Facebook page found at facebook.com/Tripawds.Gifts where the correct entry for the Facebook button field is Tripawds.Gifts.
After adding the buttons to your forum profile, click them to make sure they're working properly. Reply to this topic with any questions if you're having any difficulty making them work.
