Oh, way to set the bar high, Charon!

I need to go and get my supplies this week! Thanks again Karen!
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Oh Boy! That is gorgeous! OK, made an attempt but mine is really, really dorky looking. I'm doing a re-make!

I've received 9 ribbons already! I haven't tied any on yet though. I'll probably wait until I have a little more time after next week. I'll post a picture of the real leash once I get started (or maybe once I get Maggie's done!).

We just sent ours on Friday. Not exactly what we had in mind but the nearest craft store is about, oh, 200 miles from here, at least! Amazing what you can do with found objects :)

Can't wait to see this work of art that's taking shape.

Hi everybody,

A reminder for those planning on participating in the Tribute Leash to send your ribbons soon so they will make it in time for the Morris Animal Foundation Walk on April 29th.

It is open to all pups who are a part of our Tripawds family- read the first post on this thread for details.

I sent our ribbon(s) Saturday, but postmarked Monday.  Pick whichever one works better for the leash…  Remember Rio when you walk, if  even only for a moment…  That's the only thing that makes her loss bearable -- to think that she will be remembered…

Hey everypawdy, did you send your ribbon? There's just a few more days to get yours to Karen.

Check out the leash so far. Isn't it beautiful? Thank you to everyone who's sent a ribbon. For those who haven't but want to, hurry! The walk is in 12 days.

Very cool! Thanks again, Karen. Such a great idea and a great tribute to our heroes.
