QuoteWe just found out my foster mom, Kathy, and one of my best friends, Jana, will be working a booth for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue and Sanctuary at the Cancer walk next Saturday. I am so excited, I haven't seen Jana since last October and I haven't seen Kathy since January. I told them I can't wait to introduce all my tripawd friends to them! These are 2 very special ladies.
My foster mom and dad, Kathy and Jim also let me know that I have a new foster half sister. After 14 fosters, they adopted a year and half old golden girl from the Downey, So. Cal., area. Sounds like "Tammi" had a pretty rough start in life, but she is so beautiful and looks very sweet and she I know she will be treated like a queen now that she's living with the best foster pawrents in the whole world!!
Next Saturdays going to be a very big day for alot of us. I get to see my Tripawds friends, Kathy and Jana and I'll hopefully make some new friends and I know there will be tons of pictures taken. Maybe I'll get to meet my new foster half sister, Tammi.
We'll, I'm about done here, time for a snack and a nap. See everybody next Saturday.
I can't wait!

If we hang around the check-in tables, we'll find each other. The area isn't that big. We're sure looking forward to seeing everyone again–it's been a long time!!
Wait–I have a better idea! Let's meet at the Homeward Bound booth! Any friend of Shelby's is a friend of ours. And maybe it won't be so congested there.

Shelby…I am so excited to see you at the K9 Cancer Walk on April 24th. It will be nice to see your mom and dad too…they love you so much. I will be very honored to meet your friends too. I will have some treats for you at the Homeward Bound table. You and your friends can use our table as you base and hang out and rest after your walk.

We just opened the box from Cafe Press, man are those Tripawds.com t-shirts BRIGHT GREEN!!!!
WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!! Anyone coming within 15 feet of us while we are wearing the BRIGHT GREEN t-shirts should be wearing eye protection, like a welding helmet. If you don't have a welding helmet, please wear very, very dark sunglasses.
It would probably be helpful to wear SPF 50 UV sunscreen, the sunshine reflecting off these shirts might cause a burn!
