Hello everyone! So I decided to do my part to help with the Tripawd "Keep the lights on" campaign since my "Tripawd Chloe" shirt I made for the K9 Cancer Walk has been requested for resale! Only it gets better… I will do one of YOUR tripawd!!  Deadline is when the tripawd campaign ends!

Conditions for receiving Tee:

1. First 5 people who donate $75+ (please request only one custom item since other generous tripawd members are making mittens and socks etc… Wouldn't be fair to just donate $100 and get all three…)

2. Confirmation from one of the head honchos of the tripawd website regarding your donation and request!

3. Must send good quality photo (can be blown up with minimal blurring) and you can contact me privately so we can exchange emails/contact information.

4. Request size of shirt (Adult sizes only please), amputation date and if you want a catch phrase written on the front or back (Tripawds Rule, Tripawd power (I so stole these ideas from the tripawd store), Go Tripawds… be creative with 2 words!)

5. Upon completion I will send you the custom shirt!!

For those of you who haven't seen my Tripawd Chloe shirt, here is an example of the front and back! Note, this is for the K9 Cancer Walk in Los Gatos in October so the names mentioned are those who I will be "walking for".

Well next year or the year after (whenever there is a new "keep the lights on campaign") I might offer this again to help kick off donations!  I only joined a month ago, but I figured there might be new takers….

And we figure it's a great idea, thanks! We already have our first two takers:

Kami (aka: kbryant) and Diane (aka: maximutt) would both like shirts. Two down, three to go!

To clarify, we would like to limit this offer to new contributions as an incentive to help us reach our campaign goal.

So the First Two shirts are almost done!!! Hopefully the recipients will either post photos of their own or will allow me to post photos of their PAWSOME shirts I made! They are actually better than my shirt since their words aren't crooked (after doing my shirt I learned better ways of doing things…)

Check back in a few days for the shirt pictures!!!

For those two of you who so generously donated to the tripawd website and requested a custom Tripawd Tee for your beloved friend, I am happy to report that they are DONE!  One of the pawsome shirts is posted both here in and in my blog and the other will be up in a few days (they want their shirt to be a surprise!).  I really had so much fun making these shirts, getting to know more about their dogs and how they have both bravely fought the nasty “C” word.  It has been my honor to do something to give back to you both and I sincerely hope you enjoy your Tshirts! Chloe and I hope that we have been able to reach out an touch someone with my art :)  They will be sent out on Monday so look for these snazzy CUSTOM boxes….

PS. That orange and green thing behind the shirt, is a sticker attached to the paper underneath used as a temporary "T shirt" saver because sometimes the puff paint can go through to the other side of the shirt. I wanted to make sure there was no residue on the inside of the shirt. Basically that spot doesn't exist since I took the paper out after it dried!

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
