Comet - 1999 to 2011She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

I have a new word to add to the Tripawd dictionary:
Pawday
Pronunciation: pô/dā
Function: noun
Etymology:
Early Tripawdish, from paw, meaning dog foot, and day, a period marked by the rotation of the earth on its axis.
1. The anniversary of the loss of a leg, and therefore a paw.
2. A day when each Tripawd Hero is honored and bestowed with many beef products, squeaky toys, and tennis balls.
3. Synonym for ampuversary
