2009 Christmas Tripawd DogMy people want to wish three legged dogs everywhere – and their people – a very Merry Christmas!

They especially want to thank all Tripawds members for the best gift of all – the ongoing gift of compassion and community they give every day here in their Tripawds Blogs and the Tripawd Discussion Forums.

They have there hands full this year, enjoying Wyatt's first Christmas. But they look forward to hearing about all your three legged adventures. We feel for all of those who have lost their cancer heroes this year and offer everyone best wishes for great health and prosperity in 2010! Dog bless us, everyone.

Yes, thank you!

She departed us unexpectedly  from bleeding internally on January 23, 2011
Comet came from a dog hoarder and was born with a deformed front leg. She was sassy and bossy but oh so much fun!  She lost her brother, Rugby in 2009 and got Monkeybutt, the king of Monkeydogs!  He was the most annoying dog ever to a tripawd!

Merry Christmas to the Tripawds first family,

I have been in Ohio at my Auntie Lori's house for Christmas….she is one of my favorite people!! I love being with all the people and getting lots of petting and treats. I haven't felt much like playing lately but I still got new toys.

Mommy is worried about me, I haven't been feeling good and it scares her. I am just doing the best I can do with this cancer….what can I say! We are going home to our house on Monday, but today I am still with my Aunties and my sister, Julie and my cousins……wonderful.

Mommy says I will have a pawty soon for my one year celebration after my leg went away……I bet I will have good things to eat!! By the way……..I got in trouble the week before Christmas….I ate a whole loaf of raisin bread!!!!!!………….it was real good and I spit out the plastic………………but my mommy was very upset with me!!

Our family loves all the Tripawd families and especially Wyatt Ray, Jim, Rene and Jerry too. Wyatt, you are looking so handsome and strong!

Love, Paris…….and my pawrents Ginny & Randy

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!

Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!

Awww Paris, out of all of the Christmas goodies, you ate raisin bread? Silly girl! I'm glad you're OK but please don't do that again OK?

You are a brave, strong girl Paris, I know you won't let those mets get you down. Can't wait till your 1 year ampuversary!!

Hoppy New Year!!!

Yes, the decision and aftermath would have been much more difficult without the community here.  Thank you, Jim and Rene, for making it possible, and thank you members for all the contributing.  Wishing all a healthy, loving, prosperous 2010.

I still want to be a part of the community, even though I have lost my tripawd Peanut. It was never about me. It was always about our dogs. And that's what makes this site so great.

Thanks!
