Yep! That's right Tripawds! Today (and Tomorrow), it's a all about me, Rocket Monkeybutt-Bunny Vampire Pirate Vavra! I was adopted on this day, 8-2-09! I came to my new home the next day!
I have finally succeeded at being the "only dog" ! And now all of the attention of mommy's and daddy's is all mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! (See Cosmo, I told you they loved me more!)
Well, it didn't start off that way. Little did I know that when I got here in my new home, that the "girls" ruled! Daddy and I were sort of like outcast. It was all about Comet, my new mean tripawd sister! And mommy only paid attention to her! And to make matters worse, my new mommy moped around because she said I wasn't like her Rugby who had just died suddenly. …..Hey Mom! I'm not a Shephard! I'm Monkeybutt!….
I still don't know what all the hub-bub was over Comet! All mommy did was fuss over her! It was like a pink polka-dotted episode of the "Twilight Zone"! She was mean! And no matter how big her pink polka dot bows got, she was still MEAN!!! And mommy thought she was an angel! An ANGEL!??? [start Twilight Zone music] ♫ Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do ♫
Okay, I admit – it was very sad when she died suddenly 6 months ago. I loved her even though she was MEAN because ……..I'm nice that way!
BUT BACK TO ME…Now it's all about ME! ME! ME! ME! And mommy and daddy are going to celebrate ME! (Sorry mommy but I'm all you got now!)
And for those that never saw how mean Comet was to me – this video I made last year during her 12th birthday proves it!

And of course Comet as pretty in pink as can be and you may just have deserved a lil of that…. but we don't want to bring you down on such an up day!

Happy Adoption day Monkey Butt Vavra! I know you will make your mom have some suitable celebration – especially now that there isn't a tripawd at your house to take away your thunder!
Duke will have a treat in your honor, but he must first demonstrate he has learned his new 'leave it' command. I still make him work for the good stuff. NILF (for the four leggers)!

I must say, you are a good looking dawg. I bet the babes at the dog park love you as much as they love me! I kind of understand your story, because when they first brought me home from the pound, there was only one mean cat here. Now there are four…..(but only one of them is really mean)

I did get a newturd on adoption day but I got a super great tatoo out of the deal! Mommy thought it was a "Z" for the longest time and I couldn't really see it to know so the vet told her, it's an "N". But I wanna make it a "M" and add a "B" sometime! Bwahahahahaaa!

Mom says I have to say happy adoption day. Are you also celebrating getting "tutored" today? What do you do to celebrate that??? Have cake with no nuts? Buwhahahahahaha. No nuts!!! Get it? (Ouch! That smarts!)
I am glad your mom made that video. Now I get why you can jump so high. You had to get out of Comet's way quick! If you want to keep up your jumping workouts, I bet Cooper and Isabelle would love to come to your house with me and we can make you jump! Dance, little Rocketman, dance!
I will say this for you, you are one lucky dog. You got a good home. And your mom really knows how to airbrush those photos to make you look cute.
