Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou…..ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

I am thankful for many things this year one being the support that you have given to Tasha and myself since we joined Tripawds. Thank you , Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….

Happy Thanksgiving! I am very thankful this year to have found this forum and met all of you awesome people. It is a bittersweet holiday for so many of us whose dogs have passed….but I think we're all thankful to have met our fluffs in the first place. Hmm….and after 6 hours of baking, I'm thankful to be done for the night :P.

Last year's Thanksgiving was a celebration of mixed emotions as I am sure it was for Nova, Trouble, Maximutt, and Tika. Cherry was only eight days post-surgury and her condition was not good and going downhill. For Cherry, this has been a year of improvement spotted with that roller-coaster ride we all know. She has never been better since the diagnosis than she was in October, and we had a wonderful three day celebration less than a week ago. As my Cherry put it in her posting "Many times during each of these three days we paused for a quiet moment to give thanks, to ask Him to watch over our friends who, like me, are still on this journey, and hold very tightly all our friends who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to wait the day of joyous reunion when they will never be parted again." We are Thankful for this wonderful community, but we are most Thankful because no matter how difficult the journey, our precious companions have blessed our lives in more ways than we could ever realize.
Wishing each and everyone a very Peaceful Thanksgiving.

It was Thanksgiving Day, 2006, when we picked Jerry up from UC Davis with one less leg. Ever since then, he has taught us – in body and now in spirit – to give thanks every day for all the wonderful gifts life has to offer.
Thank you all for keeping that Tripawd Spirit alive.

This is Cemil's 10-month ampuversary and Thankful is the Word of the Day. This is way beyond what I expected 10 months ago and I am so ..beyond thankful. Also, the people I've met here are the best ever, another blessing.

Happy Ampuversary Cemile!!! What a wonderful, wonderful celebration 
Happy One-Day post thanksgiving to everyone too – I played crab and didn't have as much strength or thankfulness yesterday as I thought I would have.  The grief just kind of took over and i forgot the lessons Zeus has taught me. Oh well – I guess I'll pick it back up today and start again
