thank you.  you guys are the best.  i'm overwhelmed with all the good wishes and positive thoughts.  i'm home recuperating with the girls…better living through chemicals.  yes, there are white elephants – with little red speckles in them!!  all went well with the surgery, they are sending lymph nodes to pathology to make sure none of this nasty cancer has spread.  hopefully, they got all of it, and after a little 'glow in the dark' radiation…i'll be as good as new.

now, please, PLEASE make sure all of you girls (and you guys too) make sure you do monthly breast exams.  also, don't forget the annual mammograms!!  30% of the tumors show up on the mammograms and can't be felt (i never could find the b*st*rd)…and that many more can be felt but not seen on film.  i am very lucky (the lucky one??) we found this in time to take action before it got out of hand.  tell your sisters, your mothers, your friends, your enemies…be pro-active!!!  guys..this is a perfect opportunity to 'feel up' that special gal…please, take care of yourselves and those you love!!!

thanks again for all your prayers and positive thoughts.  it really did make the difference!!

Charon, I just posted on your blog but wanted to reiterate my good wishes and relief that the surgery went well. Sounds like you've got lots of company; all those white elephants, wow.

As someone who's pretty lax about mammograms and annual physicals, et al., thank you for the reminder.

Sending healing wishes, positive thoughts and hugs.

YOU ARE BACK ??  Wow!   I was expecting as least a grunt or groan in your post!  But you sounded perfectly normal!  I may need some pain pills to enhance my posts!surprised

That's excellent advice!  I'm overdue on a mammogram also.

So, so, so glad you are starting to feel better.  Now, let's can get some more good news from the pathology report!

Charon, so glad to hear that everything went well and you're recuperating at home. I do distant healing occasionally. I hope it's OK if I work on you a bit.

Lexi

Daisy, 12 years young, had left forelimb amp on 5/19/2010 due to osteosarcoma. She left her body behind and joined the other spirit tripawds on 7/16/2010. So grateful for each day with her! Lexi (Daisy's momma)

Charon, glad to hear your surgery went so well, we have you in our prayers. They say those drugs are a wonderful thing, you might want to grab a pen and paper and start writing, some of the best songs ever written were in that "drug induced" state of mind!!!! who knows, you and Gayle might be the next Lennon and McCartney. BIG paws up, Gus and Dan

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
