IT IS TODAY!!! TODAY IS ONE YEAR FOR ME!!!

I got balloons this morning and I got bacon with breakfast. I got loves, too, and loves make me purr and whine. I know there is a cheeseburger in the fridge for me because it was saved for me special. And I know there will be a huge pawty later this month with many of the February Furballs in attendance. But today is all about ME! I am so proud of ME because I hate change. I detest differences. But I did it! I became different and I changed and it did not kill me! Yay!!! Go ME!

Yes, hooray for YOU, Dakota! You are such a beautiful boy.

Rita will get an extra special treat today in your honor!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. You sure did do it Dakota! Yaaaay!

It sure ain't easy to have such big changes at your age, but you showed everyone that it ain't no big thing, we can do anything we put our minds too.

What a great day to pawty my friend, we're celebrating over here too. Hoppy ampuversary!!!! May there be many, many more.

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

SO…

Last Sunday, February 12th was my official 1 year ampuvesary….and how would you guess I spent it? Big party, lots of treats, all of my dog buddies over for some ribeye?

Heck NO!!!

My pawrents were like "hey Bud, since you are doing so great, we can leave you and go out of town for a weekend"!

I was like "WHAT are you freaking kidding me"? They were like "ya, we really want to go to Deadwood do some gambling, have some drinks and a nice dinner". So they packed up my stuff like my orthopedic bed, elevated water dish, diet dog food, monkey butt Daisy and there I was….at Grandma's house.

It was cool though, my grandpa think dog diets are dumb so he doesn't follow any of my mom's stupid rules….We had icecream and I got to eat off of his plate EVERY meal. All in all it wasn't so bad….

Until they came home and then all I got was these dumb a** beads!

Oh!  Look at you two!

Bud, I think grandpa's are wise!  Diet Schmiet!  All while your mommy and daddy gamble away your inheritance!  Sheesh!

Bunny Rita – you look lovely!  And look at that little smile!  I can imagine what is going through your head!   And yes, gringo Americano's can be a bit over the top!  But no more tortillas on the streets for you pretty thing!

Mr. February, you are so cute! I hope you are enjoying the last few hours of your special extra day added to your special month.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news… but that present from your sis… well, you might wanna be careful or you'll find yourself on a one-way trip to Timbuktu! We want you to stay here with us! We Monkeybutts have to stay together!
